Top 10 IPA's for Real Bros

Here is my ranking of my favorite 10 IPA's right now. Just want to say the last 5 are all so dank it was really difficult to chose the order of those. Much love to all these brews. All these have some fire power, drink responsibly.

10 - Lagunitas IPA
Lagunitas IPA
ABV - 6.2%
$ - 12oz 6 Pack Bottles $10.99
Lagunitas IPA, a classic west-coast style brew. Beer Advocate describes the flavors as "orange reflections. Scent of malt, bread and honey, citrus fruits, herbaceous hopping." My take on Lagunitas is that it is another IPA that is not amazing but it will not let you down. Solid brew but not my first choice.

9 - Goose Island IPA
Goose Island IPA
ABV - 5.9%
$ - 12oz 6 Pack Bottles $10.49
Goose IPA is a pretty standard IPA. It is available mostly everywhere. In my experience, this is the only IPA I have seen sold at golf events on the PGA Tour. Pretty standard IPA here, it sure wont wow you, but it doesn't let you down.

8 - Voodoo Ranger
Voodoo Ranger IPA
ABV - 7%
$ - 12oz 6 Pack Bottles $11.99
New Belgiums Voodoo Ranger comes from Colorado. Beer advocate describes it as, "Bursting with tropical aromas and juicy fruit flavors from Mosaic and Amarillo hops, this golden IPA is perfectly bitter with a refreshing, sublime finish." This beer can be found on tap at the local dank spot The Blazer Pub in Purdys, NY.

7 - Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
ABV - 7%
$ - 12oz 6 Pack Bottles $12.99
Ballast Point is a classic west coast IPA. This Beer goes down super smooth with hints of grapefruit and pine. A little bitter but very drinkable in my opinion. Definitely do not pass this one up if you see it at a bar near you.

6 - Stone IPA
Stone IPA
ABV - 6.9%
$ - 12oz 6 Pack Bottles $12.99
Stone IPA has some totally unique packaging. This beer is older than me as it hit the market in 1997. Beer advocate describes Stone IPA as "a golden beauty explodes with citrusy, piney hop flavors and aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it."

5 - Sip of Sunshine IPA
Sip of Sunshine IPA
ABV - 8%
$ - 16oz 4 Pack Cans $16.99
Sip of Sunshine is so dank. It is Brewed by Two-Roads in Stratford, CT. It's super light and very drinkable for people who are not traditionally IPA drinkers. Beer advocate describes this as, packed with juicy tropical fruit character, bright floral aromas and delectable layers of hop flavor.

4 - Montauk Wavechaser IPA
Montauk Wave Chaser IPA
ABV - 6.4%
$ - 12oz 6 Pack Cans $11.99
This IPA is absolute fire. Although Montauks only come in 6-packs, a 6-pack of wavechasers will certainly be enough for one night. The smell on this one is really dank. The wavechaser is "Light bodied, well carbonated, clean and crisp, very easy drinking beer" (Beer Advocate)

3 - Montauk Juicy IPA
Montauk Juicy IPA
ABV - 6.8%
$ - 16oz 4 Pack Cans $16.99
Montauk Brewing Co. coming in with the heat here. The Juicy IPA comes in four pack of 16oz cans for a hefty price. With that being said, finishing all four in one night is certainly not recommended. Two of these guys will do just fine. This IPA comes in with dank juicy citrusy flavors. Really cannot say I have had an IPA that tastes anything like this.

2 - Citra Dreams Hazy IPA
Citra Dreams Hazy IPA
ABV - 7%
$ - 16oz 4 Pack Cans $13.99
East Coast IPAs represented here strong with the citra dreams hazy IPA from Hudson Valleys own Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. Personally had two of these on the train home from the city one time and was considerably buzzed. This IPA goes down super smooth and has hints of citrus, melon and vanilla.

1 - Goose Island Next Coast IPA
Goose Island Next Coast IPA
ABV - 7%
$ - 12oz 6 Pack Bottles $11.99
This beer reminds me of drinking apple juice as a 10 year old. For anyone who wants to try IPAs but does not know what to have, this would be my number one recommendation. Every time I have one of these I always think, I need to buy these more. Beer Advocate describes this beer as, "Big, bracing, piney hop flavors meet a tropical bouquet of Nugget, Citra, and Mosaic hops."
